It’s not an overnight job. It can take weeks to sort out.

But that’s okay.

And if you know where to start, and where to go next — at each step — you can create something adaptable, balanced, and sustainable.

How Sensitive Are You?

To begin, the first question to ask is:

“How sensitive to supplements am I?”

Imagine a scale from 1 – 10.

Ten is very sensitive.

Here, supplements may cause insomnia, irritability, energy crashes, and more. This seems most common in severe hypothyroidism and environmental-related illnesses.

One is completely unbothered by supplements.

Here, you can take as many supplements as you like — or none at all — and feel mostly fine. Very little difference is noticed with what you take.

For now, I’m going to speak to people who are more sensitive: Folks who are above a four or five on the sensitivity scale.

For all types of people, the foundation of a solid nutritional program is a high-quality multivitamin.

A quality multivitamin has the following characteristics:

  • Highest quality ingredients (absorbable, bioactive)
  • Balanced doses (roughly 100% of DV)

There’s a problem, though.
