A Comprehensive Resource
You deserve to have an asset in your life — a shoulder to lean on, and a guiding light as you make real progress.
There is SO much information here, and it’s organized for quick learning. It’s taken over a decade to compile — and it’s being updated daily in both design and content.
This is the path I followed to recover my health — and the story I’ve watched unfold as I’ve counseled hundreds of folks to better health. There’s so much individuality to what works — and yet so much is universal for each of us, too.
I hope this site can be a rock to lean on over the days and months ahead, as you come back to go deeper into the concepts — continuing to process the contradictory labyrinth that is modern health information.
I hope you will find what you need to know.
Make This YOURS
There’s a lot here. A lot to learn, a lot to try, and much to sift through.
While I’ve tried to only include the best ideas — ideas that only help and don’t harm — you’ll need to try them and figure out what to make yours.
Some concepts may not resonate now, but they might later. Other concepts might be perfect now, but you don’t need to be trapped in rigid ideas, forever. Make this yours.
Do I Need To Do Every Recommended Step?
Not at all, no. Each method in every section can, on its own, offer benefits. I have found each piece of information to be valuable, helpful, and healing as I recovered — and worth including in this collection. I have high standards for what I talk about.
Over time, you will have an arsenal of fantastic habits and practices — organized in one place: The Essential Topics. And that’s the key: “Over time.” Improving your health is a long-term habit, a lifestyle. Quick fixes are usually too good to be true. Recovery begins today, continues tomorrow, and never ends.
One Step At A Time?
Sustainable progress is made when we focus on a single area — and a single step — before branching out.
Keenly observe your results, see what’s working and what’s not — all without the distraction of multiple changing variables.
Ultimately, getting to know a single Topic will help you create your own version of it (and then, others). This way we don’t find ourselves following blindly, only to reject an approach entirely if a single element isn’t currently what we need.
What’s The Perspective?
My angle — and my bias — is only toward what worked for me and what I see working for most people.
I’ve seen quite a few offshoot ideas that seemed to work for a small segment of people. Perhaps drinking Borax or 2 gallons of chocolate milk per day will work for you, but it’s not going to be the answer most people need. Therefore, ideas like that are not included in these pages.
My passion is for what helps (and do not harm) — consistently — in my own personal experience as well as what I’ve seen in observing and working with others.
Combining Multiple Steps
Combine methods after you are familiar and comfortable with one Essential Topic.
Take Regular Breaks From Nutritional Supplements
“Supplement holidays” allow your body to give you better feedback about what you need and observe the effects of each step of the protocol, while also mitigating risk of “overdoing” any nutrients.
Customize Your Approach
It’s all about finding what works for you. The Essential Topics are guidelines and “context” to empower your decisions. They do contain built-in flexibility — and they are what works for me — but they are not prescriptions.
If something doesn’t work -or- adds stress, don’t do it. Always start slow.
Where Do I Start?
Not sure where to begin? I personally feel that the Light Protocol (& Sleep Protocol) is a GREAT place to begin.
