FRAMING

We work closely with high-quality framers — a necessity when you’re also asking for more than the typical expectations. We spec exclusively Advantech & Advantech X-Factor subflooring — not just glued, but also screwed down — for industry-leading performance from your floor.

Moisture Management

We’re all about water, and specifically, keeping it out of your home.

• We know how to install ZIP System correctly — ZIP provides superior moisture resistance both during construction and after you move in. Word to the wise: Don’t trust just anybody to install ZIP correctly; It takes careful inspection to ensure nothing is missed with the J-roller.
  • Zip System also forms a physical barrier against bugs & humidity — protecting your health, possessions, and even the structure of your home.
• Two WRB’s? — We know when it is appropriate to use two WRB’s to prevent moisture ingress — along with rain screens, and other high-end moisture management systems.
• Dry Crawl Space — We have proven methods to keep your crawl space dry not just during construction — but even during framing. We utilize extensive strategies, now proven, that you won’t find anywhere else.
• HVAC sizing — Dehumidifiers, UVC + Reme Halo bulbs are standard — as are Manual J Calculations. We save you real money each month, and help reduce microbial growth on all surfaces and objects in your house.

MASONRY

We work with only the highest quality masons, beautiful bricks, stunning mortar colors, masonry drainage products, and Roma Bio paint — the leading masonry paint from Italy for breathability and longevity.

We know that masonry facades serve as “reservoir claddings” — the implications of which are significant. Better yet, we know what to do about it.

ROOFING

Our roofing partners are the cream of the crop, and we can do everything: Fortified™ Roof certifications, Pro shingles & lifetime warranties, standing seam metal, copper — we do it right.

What is Fortified™? A Fortified™-certified roof is an upgraded roofing system built to withstand extreme weather (like hurricanes, tornadoes, and hail).

What’s more, Kentucky now is offering thousands of dollars toward your Fortified roof, making this major upgrade an easy decision for custom homes. Our roofers are one of only a handful in the entire state who are certified and experienced with the Fortified™ system.

Jobsite Cleanliness

We believe that a clean job site results in higher quality work. Messes will be made, of course, but we clean often, and expect crews to do the same.

It costs a little extra to keep a site clean, but the results are worth it.

Our tiled showers feature proper, certified waterproofing installs (our tile setters are experienced, certified Schluter installers — as is Travis) for proven performance and full warranty coverage, as well as thin grout lines, highest grade thinset mortars, custom stone shelves and thresholds, and tiled ceilings.
